Moon Spirit

Moon Spirit was inspired by Rosalie's first visit to Lithuania in 2013—the homeland of her parents, who emigrated to the United States. For Rosalie, the journey was both a homecoming and an opportunity to experience firsthand the country's rich heritage, beautifully preserved architecture, and enduring traditions. During an evening walk through the historic University of Vilnius, a striking statue quietly captured her imagination and became the inspiration for this painting. Moon Spirit reflects the sense of history, mystery, and cultural pride Rosalie discovered while reconnecting with her Lithuanian roots.
