Thistle Hill Studio is an online art gallery operated by Rosalie Waranius Vass, a visual artist based in Batavia, Illinois. The site showcases original paintings, which may be purchased directly from the artist. We are not a marketplace — all artwork is created and sold directly by the artist.

Purchases and Inquiries

The site does not process payments. If you are interested in a painting, send an inquiry through the contact form and Rosalie will respond to arrange the details of the sale, including payment and delivery or pickup, with you personally. All sales are subject to acceptance and availability, and the artist reserves the right to decline any inquiry at her discretion.

Pricing

Prices shown on the site are listed in US dollars (USD), are subject to change without notice, and are not an offer to sell. A sale is complete only once it has been arranged and confirmed directly with the artist.

Intellectual Property

All artwork, photography, and content on this site is the property of Rosalie Waranius Vass. Purchase of a physical work or print does not transfer copyright. Reproduction of any artwork without written permission is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thistle Hill Studio and Rosalie Waranius Vass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or purchase of products. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable product.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kane County, Illinois.
